Two AMC alums fighting release of unauthorized photos

All My Children alums Mischa Barton (ex-Lily Montgomery) and Amanda Seyfried (ex-Joni Stafford) are both battling against the release of sexual material featuring their images.

Two All My Children alums -- Mischa Barton (ex-Lily Montgomery) and Amanda Seyfried (ex-Joni Stafford) -- are concurrently fighting against the unimaginable.

Barton is making national headlines due to a sex tape her ex-boyfriend allegedly filmed without her consent, which is making the rounds for possible public release. Lawyers for the actress were able to get a court order to stop the video and photos from being sold, after which Barton gave a news conference.

"My absolute worst fear was realized when I realized that someone I thought I loved and trusted was filming my most intimate and private moments without my consent, with hidden cameras. Then I learned something even worse: that someone is trying to sell these videos and make them public," the former The O.C. star stated. "I came forward to fight this not only for myself but for all the women out there. I want to protect them from the pain and humiliation that I have had to go through. No woman should have to go through this."

Barton's lawyer, Lisa Bloom, says the images are a form of domestic abuse, and the restraining order she was able to procure forbids the defendant from distributing, showing, giving, or selling them. She says anyone who passes the images on will also be covered under the restraining order.

"Revenge porn is a very common crime," Bloom states. "It's scary, even for a celebrity, to stand up like this but it's important for girls and women to stand up for our rights."

Meanwhile, Seyfried is battling a sex scandal of her own. The actress' legal team is reportedly pursuing a website called Celeb Jihad that posted nude photos of the actress, including images of "intimate moments" with her ex-boyfriend.
